What will happen to the Bürk area?

The historic and distinctive Bürk site in the heart of Villingen-Schwenningen has repeatedly been in the public eye. For some time, its future was uncertain. Plan A, to expand the clockmaking museum and create an urban space for encounters, culture, and inspiration, could not be implemented due to external circumstances.

Therefore, we developed a Plan B. A total of 82 apartments for students with a modern loft design are now being built in the Bürk area. This video gives you an impression of what the vacated Bürk area currently looks like and what special challenges this project faces.
